We have been studying World War II and reading the play based on Anne Frank’s Diary. Since the Writing Exam was Wed., January 15th, we have also been discussing the important components of an essay.
Jan. 11- Quiz on WWII background–Many did not study and did poorly on this quiz.
Jan. 16-Quiz over Scenes 1 and 2 of the play–Many did poorly on this quiz as well, which would indicate that they are not paying attention as we read and discuss the play.
January 18th- We will be going to the library. There will be an AR requirement for this 9 weeks. I am going to give the students the choice of completing AR by earning a designated amount of points or by completing the novel descriptions as I have required in the past.
